Seminar on "Jobs & Water" organised by US Commercial Service on the occasion of World Water Day

A seminar on "Jobs & Water" was organised by US Commercial Service on the occasion of World Water Day (April 22nd, 2016) at the America Center, Kolkata. The panelists were mainly from Academics, NGOs and Businesses. The programme was scheduled with panel discussions followed by a screening of a documentary film and interaction with students. The panel discussions were focused on Jobs & Water and Commercialization and Application of Water and Sanitation Technology. 

Professor Joyashree Roy, Coordinator, Global Change Programme spoke about the objectives being tackled under the ongoing IUSSTF Project and how arsenic contamination was a serious issue in West Bengal.

Joe Charbonnet, of UC Berkeley, spoke about the Unique Selling Point (USP) of the ECAR Technology and explained its sustainabilty parameters.
