Payal Sen completed an M.A. in Sociology from Jadavpur University in 2009 during which she was a recipient of SYLFF fellowship (M.A. level, 2008-2009). Thereafter she joined GCP-JU under the project “Socio-Economic Study of Street Vending in Kolkata”. Under this project Payal undertook various kinds of surveys, made research notes, helped in making maps, data entry tasks and was involved in organizing the IPCC Working Group meeting.
