Preeti Kapuria is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Global Change Programme since 2013. Her research has mainly been on studying the dynamics of human-environment interactions in both rural and urban landscapes where she attempts to investigate the factors that determine resource harvest and human well-being. Other research interests include studying relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, economic analyses of ecosystem services, potential climate change impacts on the social-ecological system at Digha-Sankarpur, India
