GLOBAL CHANGE PROGRAMME

Satabdi Datta has been working with Global Change Programme, Jadavpur University (GCP-JU) since December, 2012 as a Project Fellow in the research project on “Coastal Ecosystem and Changing Economic Activities: Challenges for Sustainability Transition along Chinese and South Asian Coasts” funded by Asia-Pacific Network for Global Change Research (APN). Her responsibilities include academic and certain administrative work related to the project.She completed her undergraduate and post graduate degree in Economics from University of Calcutta. She has done M. Phil in Development Studies from Institute of Development Studies Kolkata. Currently she is a Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Economics, Jadavpur University. Her research interests include economics of community based natural resource management, sustainability transition and the broad area of Environmental and Resource Economics.
