Shreya Some has been working as a project assistant in GCP-JU since January, 2016. Her research interests revolve around areas of Agriculture Economics, Issues related to Sustainable Development, Public Economics and Social impact of Economic policies. She has been working on two projects “National Adaptation Strategy Formulation for reduction of climate induced risk to labour productivity” under the thematic area “Energy, Environment and Climate Change” of UGC-UPE Phase II and “Commercializing a scalable low-cost arsenic remediation technology for societal support” funded by IUSSTF. She has done both her bachelor and master degrees from Jadavpur University in Economics securing First position in both the examinations.
