Kuheli Mukhopadhyay is currently working in the capacity of a Research Associate at Global Change Programme, Jadavpur University (GCP-JU). Her research interests revolve around areas of Environmental and Health Economics, Heat Stress and Human Labour Productivity, Issues related to Sustainable Development, Economic and Social dimensions of Climate Change. She joined GCP in the year 2009 and has worked for NATCOM II Project of Govt. of India as a Research Assistant, under GCP-JU which provided a new set of integrated methodology, approach and suggestions in the realm of climate change-water-health and livelihood connections. At present, she is working as a Project Fellow on the Research Task “National Adaptation Strategy Formulation for reduction of climate induced risk to labour productivity” under the thematic area “Energy, Environment and Climate Change” of UGC-UPE Phase II.She has done her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and has completed her Masters in Economics from Calcutta University with specialization in Statistics-Econometrics and Operations Research. Currently, she is also pursuing her Doctoral Research in the Department of Economics, at West Bengal State University, Barasat (Kolkata) in India.
